How does an air fryer work?
It uses rapid air technology to circulate hot air around the food. This creates a crispy, fried texture using little to no oil.
Is it necessary to preheat Air fryer?
Air fryers often do not require preheating. However, for a better crunch, you can run it for 2–3 minutes before adding food.
What kind of utensils can I use inside Impex Air fryer?
You can use any oven-safe or OTG-proof glass, metal, or silicone molds. Avoid using plastic containers as they will melt.
Can I use aluminum foil or parchment paper?
Yes, but always place food on top to weigh it down. Never leave foil or paper alone inside, as the fan can blow it into the heating element.
How much oil do I need to use in Impex Air fryer?
For frozen snacks like fries, no oil is needed. For fresh items like raw potatoes or chicken, use just 1 teaspoon of oil for the best results.
Is the Impex Air fryer basket dishwasher safe?
Yes, Impex Air fryer basket is dishwasher safe. You can also hand-wash them easily with a soft sponge and mild soap.
Can I cook Indian snacks like Pakoras or Samosas?
Yes. For pakoras, make the batter slightly thick so it doesn't drip. Samosas, tikkis, and tandoori snacks come out very crispy.
Do I need to flip or shake the food while cooking?
For even browning, it is recommended to shake the basket or flip the food halfway through the cooking timer.
What should I do if the air fryer stops during cooking?
Impex Air fryers have an "Auto-Pause" safety feature. If you pull the basket out to check the food, the unit will stop and resume automatically once you push it back in.
