Common Questions

Can not find an answer? Contact our support team at support@impex.in or call 1800-123-4567 (free).

1. Can I use my regular pressure cooker on an induction cooktop?

No, regular aluminum pressure cookers will not work.

2. Can I use a round-bottomed Kadai?

No. For induction to work efficiently, the base of the utensil must be flat to maintain constant contact with the ceramic plate. A round-bottomed Kadai will not heat properly and may trigger an error code.

3. What size pan can be used in Impex Induction cooktop?

Better match the pan's diameter to the cooking zone for best results.

4. Will my electricity bill increase significantly?

Induction is more energy-efficient than gas or electric coils because it heats the vessel directly with minimal heat loss.

5. Is it safe to touch the cooktop while cooking?

The glass surface itself does not heat up; only the vessel does. However, the glass can become hot due to residual heat from the hot pot. An auto-cooling fan that runs for a minute after you turn it off to cool the internal components.

6. Why Induction cooktop making a humming or buzzing sound?

This is normal. The sound is caused by the high-frequency electromagnetic field vibrating the layers of the cookware. Heavier, high-quality induction-compatible pans usually produce less noise than lighter ones.

7. What does the "E0" error code mean?

In Impex Induction cooktop, E0 code means "No pot detected" or "Incompatible cookware." If you see E0 error code, check if your pan is centered and magnetic. For other codes (like E1 or E7), refer to user manual.

8. Does it work during a power cut with an inverter?

Most home inverters cannot support the high wattage of an induction cooktop. Unless you have a high-capacity "heavy load" inverter or a generator, the cooktop will not function during a power outage.

9. What is the benefit of Dual coil induction cooktop?

Dual coil induction cooktops are more efficient and long life compared to single coil.
