1. Is the glass top safe? Will it break with heat? Impex gas stoves use premium Toughened Glass. It is specially treated to withstand high cooking temperatures and thermal shock. While it is extremely durable, it is still glassÃ¢â‚¬â€avoid dropping heavy objects on it or placing hot vessels directly from the fire onto a cold part of the glass. 2. What material are the burners made of? We use heavy-duty Brass Burners. Unlike aluminium or alloy burners, brass withstands high heat for years without deforming. They also provide better heat retention and a consistent blue flame for fuel efficiency. 3. Is it compatible with Piped Natural Gas (PNG)? By default, the stove comes configured for LPG (Cylinder) Gas. If you want to use it with a Pipeline connection (PNG), you must get the nozzle modified by a certified gas technician. Do not attempt to use it on PNG without this conversion. 4. How do I clean the glass surface? Cleaning is effortless with our Impex glass top gas stove Series. Wait for the glass to cool down, then spray a standard glass cleaner or soapy water and wipe it with a soft cloth or sponge. Never use steel wool or abrasive scrubbers, as they will scratch the glass surface. 5. Can I use oversized pots or heavy vessels? Impex stoves come with sturdy Pan Supports designed to hold standard Indian cookware sizes. However, for the Glass Top range, avoid using "Tandoor" attachments or baati ovens that cover the burner completely, as the trapped heat can reflect downwards and damage the glass. 6. Why is the flame reddish instead of blue? A reddish (yellow/orange) flame indicates incomplete combustion, usually because the burner holes are clogged with food or dust. Clean the burner head with a needle or brush to remove blockages. If the issue persists, check your gas regulator. 7. Is there a warranty on the glass? Yes, Impex typically offers a specific warranty on the toughened glass (depending on the model), separate from the general product warranty. Please check the warranty card in the box for the exact terms. 8. Are the knobs durable? Yes, the stove features Ergonomic Knobs made from high-quality heat-resistant plastic (Bakelite or ABS). They are designed for a smooth grip and precise flame control. 9. Can I place hot vessels directly on the glass? While the glass is heat resistant, we recommend placing hot vessels on the pan supports or a trivet, not on the flat glass surface itself, to prevent thermal shock scratches or damage.
