Unlike traditional non-stick pans that use synthetic materials, this coating is derived from natural minerals (sand/silica). It provides a naturally smooth, non-stick surface that is durable and eco-friendly. 2. Is TrueCera cookware safe for health? Yes, Impex TrueCera is one of the healthiest cookware options available. The TrueCera coating is 100% Free of PFOA, PFAS, Lead, and Cadmium. Even if you accidentally overheat the pan, it will not release toxic fumes or blister, making it safer for you and your family compared to ordinary non-stick pans. 3. Is this different from Teflon/Non-stick pans? Yes. Traditional non-stick pans use PTFE (often called Teflon). Impex TrueCera uses a Sol-Gel ceramic technology. It is harder, more heat-resistant, and completely free of the chemicals found in traditional non-stick coatings. 4. Do I need to use oil while cooking? You need very little to no oil. Because food doesn't stick, you usually only need a soft sponge and warm soapy water. • Important: Avoid using steel wool or abrasive scouring pads as these can micro-scratch the smooth ceramic surface. • Dishwasher: We recommend hand washing. Dishwasher detergents can be very abrasive and may dull the vibrant color and non-stick performance of the ceramic coating over time. 8. Can I cook on high heat? We recommend using Low to Medium heat. Ceramic coatings conduct heat very efficiently. High heat is generally unnecessary and can carbonize (burn) oil onto the surface, creating a sticky residue that is hard to remove. Cooking on medium heat preserves the non-stick life of the pan. 9. Why did my pan get a brownish stain?
